OrthoProof uses FlashCT scanners to digitize dental impressions and plaster casts for orthodontic applications.

Dental impressions are scanned directly using a CT scanner to produce digital models so that plaster casts are not needed.

DigiModel is the software used to view these new digital models. It is also possible to scan existing plaster casts to produce digital models and to view them with the DigiModel software. All digital models are stored in computer archives for instant retrieval.

The digital models enable you to perform measurements and analysis within the DigiModel software in a digital format. Previously this involved manual operations with plaster study casts. The use of digital data rather than physical casts offers various important benefits:
